Planning

Legacy planning are tasks and activities that we want to accomplish before age prevents us from doing so. Some of these tasks are related to passing on valuable information to our family and friends. You might want to organize all those family photos or give some gifts to special people in our lives. Other tasks are more personal. Setting up a will and other medical directives will make decisions for your family easier.

While many of purposefully avoid thinking about death, death is an inevitable part of life. By preparing for this inevitability, we can spare our loved ones a lot of heartache, stress and indecision.

Some legacy planning can actually be fun (if you let it). Going through old photos and heirlooms is often a warm wonderful experience, and talking about them with your family may create memorable moments. Giving gifts to friends and family or donating to a good cause can also generate a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
